New Competition Formats Supported
We're pleased to announce that we now support a wide range of new competition formats for team events.
Afte popular request we have now expanded from the par based betterball to add the following 4 person stableford events.
- Reverse Par Based Betterball (reverse waltz). On par 3 holes, 1 score counts, on par 4, 2 scores, par 5 all 4 scores count.
- Team Multiplier. In a team of four, the best 2 stableford scores on each hole are multiplied, so 2 x 2 = 4, 3 x 4 = 12, and 3 x 0 = 0 for example.
- Progressive Bowmaker (thanks to Freddy for the tip on the name), where on holes 1-9 2 scores count, holes 10-15 3 scores count and 16-18 all 4 scores count.
- 1-2-3 or cha-cha-cha. On the 1st hole, 2 scores count, on the 2nd, 3 scores count, on the 3rd all 4 score count. On the 4th, back to 1 to count etc. Personally I thought this was a waltz, but open to suggestions for naming this.
- As above, but 3-2-1. Reverse cha-cha-cha?
this is of course all in addition to other formats we've added, including greensomes, foursomes (including stableford variants), texas scrambles.
These are all now available for you to select in competition settings.
